When it comes to lighting your enclosure it is important to remember your animals do not like sudden changes in lighting intensity. This is often overlooked, so a smooth sunrise and sunset dimming period is very beneficial to your pets. Birds in particular become anxious with a sudden drop in in light and will have a major effect on their breeding.

The Automatic LED light sunrise to sunset controller has been designed for use with aviaries, fish tanks and reptile enclosures. It simulates the natural progression from day to night and from night to day to give your animals a more natural environment. The on and off times are easy to adjust and the rate of change from light to dark can also be adjusted to suit you and your animals requirements. The controller is supplied with a reel of ‘Daylight’ LED tape. The tape is IP65 rated and the LED's are covered in epoxy resin to give them good protection from the elements. The tape is supplied on a 5 metre reel which has a self-adhesive back. It is highly flexible and versatile and with a low power consumption.
Analogue Version
The analogue version of our Automatic LED Sunrise to Sunset controller uses a mechanical timer. This displays the current time and controls the sunrise and sunset times. It is very easy to use and has battery back-up which maintains the time in the event of mains failure. The timer can be set to start the sunrise/sunset every half hour and will repeat every day, seven days a week.
The light dimmer control module has been designed to give you precise control of the LED tape as it transforms from sunrise to sunset. There are four different time settings you can select from: 1 - 60 sec / 1 - 30 min / 30 - 60 min or 1 - 2 hours. The time scale you require is achieved by adjusting the two DIP switches and fine tuning is done using a small preset potentiometer.
Digital Version
The digital version of our Automatic LED Sunrise to Sunset controller uses a digital timer with LCD display. This displays the current time and controls the sunrise and sunset times. It is has battery back-up which maintains the time and program in the event of mains failure. The timer can be set to start the sunrise/sunset every minute. You can program select up to twenty programmes per day and it can be set to have different start time every day and on different days.
