Cebek Bridge Rectifier Educational Project

The EDU series of educational modules from Cebek offer the student the chance to experiment, analyse and learn the basic knowledge of the chosen electronic theme. Their function is to complement the work of the teacher as well as to allow the experimentation of a theoretical theme evocated by the teacher. The comprehensive manual supplied with each module gives detailed information about each experiment and circuit diagrams. Guidance notes for the teacher are provided including operating characteristics, formulas and principles for each component used in the experiments.

The Cebek EDU-006 is a mini-laboratory with 4 experiments allowing the student to verify and to contrast the operating mode and principles of different configurations of rectifiers bridges.

Experiment 1. Half - wave rectifier. Positive half-cycle, diode nominal current, etc.

Experiment 2. Rectifier bridge. Rectification cycle of the complete wave, division of the current between the diodes.

Experiment 3. Bridge rectifier with capacitor. Capacitor incidence, current of surcharge, ripple formula.

Experiment 4. Experiments comparison. Current in the diodes. Differences in the diagrams V. peak, etc.
