The VTTEST11N Cable Tracker, consists of a tone generator which generates a single 1500Hz or dual 1300 / 1700Hz square wave. The receiving probe, which detects the signal from the tone generator. Enables the operator to determine the cable route and if there is a break or fault in the cable. The Cable tracker has audible and visual indication. Supplied with carry bag, croc-clips and RJ network plug. Easily detect faulty networks and phone lines with RJ45 and RJ11 connections using this network cable tester. Connect one end of the cable to the main unit, the other to the detachable remote unit, and turn on the power. The unit's LED's can be used to see how the cables are wired, to identify short circuits, incorrect wiring, or crossover connections. Main unit requires one 9V PP3 battery (not supplied).
